Originally Built in the 1890’s and the 1970’s, DBC was engaged in 2001 to redefine Sunglow’s master plan and image. An existing 70’s vintage painted adobe strip motel was converted into free standing casitas, while the decomposing turn of the century post office was demolished and used as inspiration for what has become the Sunglow Cafe and Kitchen facility. Today Sunglow is developing a following as a remote retreat center for outdoor enthusiasts and amateur astronomers.
